The gold star in front of an Au Pair's name means that she has been accepted into the Au Pair Premiere Program, which means that she is pre-qualified to obtain a J-1 Visa in the United States through GreatNannies's Agency Partner Program.

Qualifications of an Au Pair Premiere participant:
