How come my email doesn't reach some AuPairs?
Many aupairs use free HotMail or Yahoo accounts that come with a very limited amount of storage space. When the aupair's email account is full, all subsequent emails will not be delivered, and will therefore bounce back to you as not deliverable.
Typically, the email address is valid, it's just temporarily full. When the aupair makes room in her mailbox, you can resend your message and it will go through.
If you look closely at the details of the returned email, you will usually see messages such as: "This account is over quota" or "Mailbox full" or something similar.
There are also some instances where a router or a mail server that handles an aupair's email may be down and your email cannot go through. There is nothing you or GreatNannies can do about situations like that.
Our best advice to you in these situations is to be persistent and resend your emails over the course of a few days as most problems you encounter will remedied in that timeframe.
