Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family,

Welcome me into your life and you will never regret it! I am extremely easy to get along with and very hard working. I love life and I always have a positive and cheerful attitude. Your children's safety, education, and all around well-being would be my first priority at all times and you should always feel at ease while they are with me.

I am looking for a family that is willing to share with me their language and culture, and in return I hope to be able to share my knowledge and english skills with the children. My past experience in childcare includes 6 years of babysitting for friends and neighbors while in high school, including some overnight trips with the families, and caring for my younger nieces and nephews. I have also taught weekend craft classes at a summer camp for kids.

I am very flexible with my schedule and I have no problem with preparing meals, ironing, or light housekeeping duties. I have traveled all over the world and I am very used to working and living with people from all different cultures and walks of life. I have lived on my own for several years and I am very responsible and independent.

At university I studied art history and political science and I believe that a good education is the foundation for success. I love to read and learn, and I believe sharing that with children is truly rewarding.
