Au Pair or Nanny job description

You will have the responsibility for our daughters from about 8 am to 6 pm from Mo to Fri (weekends off). We expect a friendly warm and playful atmosphere in the house, and you will be responsible for creating their daily program of activities (after school), and preparing meals for yourself and them once a day. You will need to pick them up from the school. We have a cleaning lady once a week, so we expect you to only support with light housework. You will have a spacious room in our house. Food, internet access is free. We expect integration into our family, a responsible attitude and the ability to manage the daily schedules with our daughters. You should be able to speak French fluently, some English and German would be a plus.

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

Our young family is looking for a friendly, female Au Pair for our little daughters Larissa (3,5 years) and Annika (2,5 years).

We are a German / South African family who located from London to Geneva in August 2006. We speak German and English in the house, Afrikaans when necessary and are all learning French. Our daughters are going to the Montessori preschool 4 days a week - the have school 2 days in English and 2 days in French. Both parents are working fulltime. We are living in a small village very close to Geneva, with a beautiful view of the mountains and close to the lake. The train and the bus lines are close by, but it is easier by car.
