Au Pair or Nanny job description

We are looking for a loving, dependable, nanny who understands the makeup of a large family, will be a team player and fill in wherever necessary. One with common sense, awareness of safety issues, and cooking skills are a plus. We currently have a nanny and are looking for additional help. It may be looking after the smaller children or helping the older children with their school assignments. We teach the children at home, and some teaching assistance will be involved. The elderly care would consist of watching out for a forgetful grandmother. You would enjoy any travel with the family. We would also like a nanny who would assist us in training the children to be self-sufficient. They are responsible for their own chores, which you would help manage. Someone who has the gift of service would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for someone who will be like a family member and will be treated as one.

We are a loving family who lives in a great area just outside Nasvhille, TN, in Franklin, a beautiful old historic city. We are 3 minutes away from one of the newest and largest malls in Tennessee. We are convenient to all kinds of activities, churches, and entertainment. We live in a nice home on 8 1/2 acres with pond and stream. We are a large family with 7 children at home, who are well mannered and behaved. They are very helpful with each other. Their ages are 16, 14, 11, 9, 6, 4, and 2 mo.
