Nanny's Message to Families
Hi! I am a 23 year old energetic chick from NZ! I am just returning home after living in Europe for the past 15 months. I love everything about the au pair concept and I am looking to move to Boston some time next year. I love to travel and the idea of immersing myself in new cultures and living in a foreign country. I also love kids which is why this is the perfect job for me!
I have been working for a family in Den Haag, The Netherlands since January. My contract finished in December so I am hoping to find a great new family to join! I worked for a dutch family caring for two girls aged 5 and 8. I also cook for the hole family 5 times a week. As the girls are in school I also work 3 times a week caring for a 3 month old baby girl and babysit on a casual basis for an Australian family looking after two girls aged 3 and 18 months. I think I have a good range of experience and I understand the importance of getting a good match between the nanny and family and how honesty and communication are an important part of this.
More about me... I grew up in the North of NZ (where it is very warm and there are lots of beaches!) and studied further south where I got a degree in Psychology. I love sport and played field hockey and swam at a competitive level (I also hold lifesaving certificates) and will generally play any social sport. I like to hang out with my friends, shop, watch movies be around people. I consider myself pretty easy going and friendly. If you like what you here please get in touch so we can talk some more. :D
