Au Pair or Nanny job description

Job Description is mainly focused on caring for 2 great and well behaved boys. One boy, Eddie is 2 years old (born 10/2006), and the other boy, Baby Figo, is a newborn 1 month old baby (born 11/2008). This involves taking care of all their needs 7 days a week, making sure they eat properly, and exercise and play daily. The job also includes dropping Eddie to the Nursery with the family car and driver, and picking him up from the nursery 5 days a week. Also, ensuring cleanliness of the 2 boys, bathing them regularly, changing their diapers, ensuring their clothes are properly washed, disinfected and ironed, and maintaining an overall high standard of cleanliness.

While the focus of the job will be caring for the 2 boys, some light housework may be required from time to time.

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

Dear Au pair,

We are an Egyptian couple who are international in outlook and highly cultured. The father is 44 years old and works as the Head of a Global Bank based in Cairo Egypt, and covering North Africa. The mother is 38 years old and is a Regional Marketing Director for a Global British Consumer Goods Company. They have 2 boys (2 year old and 1 month old) and are looking for a top notch English speaking nanny to care for their wonderful, and well behaved boys.

They live in a 5 bedroom 2 story villa with a large 1000 square meter garden and swimming pool, and is part of a secure and up-market compound containing only 40 neighbors.

The family has a security guard for the villa, 2 cars and 2 drivers, and also has 2 maids and a cook to care for the household cleaning requirements and other logistics support for the household (like food shopping, errands, etc).

We will take care of all the nanny's visa requirements (but of course will require a copy of her passport to start the procedures), and are willing to pay an appropriate salary that is negotiable for the right candidate. We also offer excellent living in accommodations with full amenities. There is ne day a week that we will give as holiday, and will also pay for a 6 week paid holiday once every 2 years. This includes a return plane ticket to the nanny's home country as well as full salary for the time that nanny is away.

We expect a long term relationship with the nanny and are not interested for a 1 or 2 year contract as understandably children get attached to good nannies very quickly and frequent changes can be traumatic. The right Nanny therefore must be committed to stay a minimum of 3 or 4 years, if not longer.
