Au Pair job description

Duties will be to prepare Vincent for school, breakfast, take him to school (only 5 min walk) and to sport activities. Pick Vincent from school, assist him with his homework, bath and bed time.

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom, and I expect you to keep them clean and organized.

You would also need to prepare some meals (when I'm not around), and to keep the kitchen clean after all meals, etc. I will also need your help to iron Vincent's clothes and to babysit max. 3 nights a week. And to keep Vincent's bedroom organized. I would like you to be nice and friendly and to be like a big sister for Vincent.

Family's Message to Au Pair

We are a family of 2: I'm Veronica, 36 years old and my 6 year old son Vincent, living in Romano di Lombardia, Bergamo, which is about an hour drive from Milan. We both have double citezinship: German & Mexican and speak 4 languages fluently: Spaisch, German, Italian & English (Vincent is just learning English now).

Vincent goes to his first year of elementary school, 3 times a week he eats lunch there and stays until 4:30 pm, and twice a week he gets off from school at 12:35 and gets home for lunch. He takes karate and swimming lessons, twice a week each. And he enjoys when someone reads him a book. He is only allowed to watch TV for 30 (max. 60) min a day, so he should keep busy with homework, sport and playing with his toys, you could read him a story or make some craft works.

About me: I'm Veronica, work as an employee (Export & Marketing) for a big company close from home. I travel every once in a while, but only for one or two days. I normally come home around 7:00 pm, but sometimes I have to go out for dinner (business).

Vincent's father: Volker (41 years old) doesn't live with us, but comes to visit about once a month from Germany.
