Au Pair or Nanny job description

We are looking for someone to care for our children as we would. This would be a summer position, so it would require taking the children places to keep them busy. We live near a swimming pool and there are lots of parks as well. The three older boys, maybe in camp as well, so they would need to be dropped off and picked up at the appropriate times. The youngest will need the most attention, as he is home all day. We are not looking for a maid, but would expect you to clean up after yourself. Also, pick up after the boys during the day. This would be a FT job, with occassional nights here and there, but would give you notice. We are also looking for someone to watch them every once in awhile on the weekends, so that we can have time alone as well. Again we would discuss with you before to make sure it would be OK. Just looking for someone to love and care for our boys as we would.

Family's Message to Au Pair or Nanny

My husband and I both work FT jobs throughout the week, and spend time with the boys in the evenings and weekends. The boys are off during the summer break, and we would love for them to have one-on-one attention from someone. You can take them to the pool, parks, zoo, or just play in the yard. They love to do stuff. We don't want them just sitting in front of the TV throughout the day. The three older ones maybe in camp the majority of the summer, so it may just be the younger one to entertain, which would be fun. You would have your own bedroom, but we do share one bathroom on the main floor, the boys have their own. The boys know how to pick up after themselves, but tend to need a little push to get it done, so you would need to help them. We are not looking for someone to pick up the whole house, but would like you to pick up after yourself, and help out where you see needed. If something looks dirty, it would be great if you could clean it up. We love to spend time with the boys, so the majority of the evening you would be free, as well as the weekends. There will be times we would love to be by ourselves for a "date night" or if something comes up at work. We would give you as much notice as possible. We have had 4 aupairs before and the children have gain such good lasting relationships with all of them. We hope this will be the same.
