Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Family

I am a young Peruvian national with a degree in early childhood education and profitable experience as a nanny in my country for over two years. I am looking for a welcoming and energetic family anywhere in the world where I can have the opportunity to share all my love, care and high family values I have learnt through my own family, my own life, and, of course, through my own profession. I would also love to have the opportunity to share my culture and especially my mother tongue, Spanish.

I always knew I wanted to be an early childhood educator, even since I was a little girl and I did not really know much about responsibilities and having to work. I have always said that I was born a teacher. I think, the position you are offering as a nanny will also give me the opportunity to do the same I have been doing through my career and much more. It is sometimes easier to teach outside the home, and therefore I want to learn to teach and share within it. I want to learn about another culture, but above all, I really want to share mine

As a teacher I have the satisfaction of receiving tons of gratitude from my little angels. They always give me all their unconditional and true love, and I have already had the greatest gift of all, because, sometimes, they have even considered me as their own mother. They felt protected, loved, cared, and respected when being with me.

In the past year and a half, I have also been taking care of two extraordinary children, Piero who is already 6 years old, and Melany who has really been a challenge to me as she is only one year old. I have to change diapers, bathe, and feed them on a daily basis. It was hard at the beginning but it was not difficult at all as they compensate all my lack of experience as a nanny, with love, laughter, and compassion. They never criticized my faults or mistakes; they were always there for me at the beginning of this new adventure. Their mother is really pleased with my performance and so are the children now. Now, I feel I am ready to start a new challenge and I am looking for new bright horizons in your country through the live in caregiver program.

It is very difficult to describe yourself as you are always going to mention your best part, but I can only tell you that my friends always say that I am very tolerant and a terrific listener, although I have to confess that, sometimes, I feel really upset when people do not consider me in the same way I consider them.

I am extremely organized in my job, my studies, and above all, my own life, I am convinced that this is the only way you can accomplish your goals and be responsible with the duties you accept to take upon your shoulders.
