Au Pair's Message to Families
Dear hostfamily, hi my name is Sarah, I'm 19 years old and from Dresden, this is a city in Germany. I lived in Toms River - NJ for 4 1/2 month, and worked as an Au-Pair. I took care of 3 children, a boy, he is 13 years old and two girls 11 & 8. I played with them, helped them with their schoolwork, made breakfast, lunch & dinner for them, drove them to friends houses etc. I also did the laundry, went grocery shopping and helped to keep the house clean. Right now I live with a family from Scarsdale, NY. They also have 3 children. One boy, he is 8 years old and twins, they are 21month. I feed the kids, change diapers, play a lot with them, help to keep the house clean, do the laundry etc. After my first Au-Pair year I would like to extend for another year in California, Arizona or Nevada. This would start at the end of July 2009.
I'm an open-minded, responsible, flexible, out-going and nice person. I like to go to concerts, meet my friends, cook or go shopping. I also enjoy photography and love to travel and meet new people. I have experience in taking care of children and I am qualified for kids under 2. The most kids i took care of were in the age of 0-13 years. I love kids and like to help them to grow up. I am strictly against violence in the raising of children. I have a drivers license and my own car in germany & first hostfamily and access to the car in my current family. I'm with the agency- CULTURAL CARE AU PAIR. For me it's important that you are also in that organistion. SARAH
