Au Pair or Nanny job description

We are looking for a full time child care provider. Most days children are in school, so schedule would be from 11:00 am until 6:30 pm. Son is in Early School, attends 5 days 8:10 - 11:10 am. Daughter in 1st grade attends school all day. Based on children's school schedule you would be required to be at our home by 8:00 am on days they do not attend school.

Occassional Saturday's required but would have a day off during the week. Children would need to be picked up from school, taken to various activiites, which are all local. Such activities include skating lessons, ballet, tennis and swimming.

Summer hours would be 8:00 until 6:15.

Cooking required- feed son lunch daily and both children dinner daily.

Very minimal housekeeping required, mainly children's bed, some children's laundry and picking up house with them when toys, etc taken out.

Dear Au Pair,

We are a loving family wtih two spirited and sweet children. Both my husband and I work outside of the home so we are looking for a warm, kind but structured childcare provider to take care of them during the day.

Our children are both active, our daughter has been dancing and doing gymnastics for 4 years. Our son is learning to skate. Both children play tennis and swim during the summer. They love to be outdoors riding bikes and playing.

We do not like to watch an abundance of television, prefer the children play games, use their imagination, occasionally go to children's game/educational websites or read books.
