Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear family,

let me introduce myself. My name is Katerina , I am 18y and I live in Liberec,Czech Republic. I study academy of law, where I hope I will graduate. We are educated there in economy, law, accounting, psychology or filosofy. I realy like this school because those subjects I am interest in. I teach once per week my brother English and also once per week my sister-in-law Czech gramar and bussiness administration. Then I also work in small butique with fabrics and disagner cloths owned by fashion stylist. I help sometimes to my mother, psychologist in Pensioner house, in terapies of handcrafts with seniors.

I like snowboarding, but however I am after operation of knee and I cannot do it anymore. Anyway, I am quite active girl:D. During the week I go almost every day run, then I go to fitness and with my niece swim. I love cooking, it is one of my passion, and trust me I can cook well. Then I like reading books, drawing, listen to music, learning foregin languages and taking care of my dog.

I´ve taken care of children since I was 13y. I helped to my brother and to his wife, who were busy in founding their bussines, with their newborn daughter. I spent with her and then also with nephew all weekends and after schools days too. Usually, I took care of their children now twice or once per week after school, when their parents must deal something. Then I also babysitt sometimes during the weekend, when they go somewhere with friends. Then, I was trice as an au-pair. I was last year in Finland, where I took care of one years old girl and also of all household, while were parents in the work. Actually, they are beekeepers, so during the summertime they have to work with the bees, so I stayed all days with Viljaana from 7 o´clock in the morning till 9 o´clock in the evening. But even it was sometimes hard, I spent there great summer. I started this summer in Italy. I helped there to mother of four boys with household. However, this family is one of those, who doesn´t hire au-pair as new member of family but as slave. Even I gave my best to the work, it was not everytime enough. So I have been forced to leave them. I found after very nice family, again in Finland ;), . I took care of three children and I maneged all household alone. Their mum is dead and their father is still in work. So that are my experiences with au-pair. I just hope, you are serious in this thing and you are looking for member of family, as it suposed to be. Whatever I do, I do with all my heart and I give into my best. I am honest and open-minded in a lot of things. I don´t do this au-pair for money, but for experiences and because I love children. I expect from family, they will treat me like full right and rule member and also I expect providing of school. I would be very interested in studying some university courses or whatever.
