Au Pair or Nanny job description

We are self employed and require an au pair or a nanny to look after our 2 children who are 3 & 4 y/old. We live in Hervey Bay, Australia. The successful applicant, will have your own bedroom, access to & internet to contact family and friends. We work from Wednesday through Sunday & require the successful applicant to work 30 hours plus per week. A typical day in our house: prepare breakfast for the children, bath them, dress them and keep them entertained with educational and fun activities such as painting, drawing, play dough, watching scheduled TV shows like play school, possibly driving them to the park or the beach for an hour, simple cooking lessons etc. We will need you also to prepare their lunch then they have their sleeps. That will take you to 3 or 4pm when you can then finish for the day. You must be able to speak English, have an international driver's licence or be willling to get one & must have at least some experience in taking care of young children.

Dear Au Pair, We are a young '30 something' family and we need help to take care of our 2 children. We both work for our own livelihood in our business and are very busy at times. Therefore, we need somebody who has a natural love for children and who is willing to go the extra mile and take initiative to create a fun and educational time for the children. They are 3 & 4 year old and are at the age where they can do most things for themselves but they still require someone to lead by example. You will be spending a lot of time with them and they will look up to you as someone they can trust to look after them and keep them safe. You will need to tell us how much experience you have and tell us about you and your interests as well. We like to go fishing and jetskiing, we love going to the beach with the children, I enjoy craft in my spare time (which i have very little of) and we love to do things together as a family. You could say we are very active and enjoy life. We have a Jeep Cherokee which you will be able to drive the kids around and hopefully do minor errands for me. i could tell you more, but I think I have said enough already.
