Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family,

I´m a willing person, a little shy but very open-minded. I love to take care of children and play with them; I also love to cook, in fact I'm planning on studying gastronomy when I come back from my Au-Pair experience. I currently am a college student and finished my first semester of Degree in Industrial Design, I love designing interiors and exteriors, if you saw my room you would notice. I absolutely love all kinds of animals, I also really like plants a lot but my passion is cooking. I'm part of a family of 6, I have 2 younger brothers and an older sister, we were all raised in a catholic conservative way, anyhow I respect other points of view and am comfortable with almost any way of thinking.

Let me tell you about my experience with children and what I've learned; I used to teach 4-year-olds a religion class and I it was awsome. Every weekend I take care of my cousins, who are 7, 6 and 5 years old, I love playing with them and teaching them new stuff. I was part of a children's show and when I was living in the US I worked as a baby sitter for some time. I took a Child Development course when I was in Highschool, ... so I do have some experience with children ;)

I'm seeking for a nice open family with children preferably older than 2 years old. A family that would like an extra member to take care of their children and teach them a new culture and perhaps a new language. A family that will respect me and make me feel like at home. Who is willing to share some of their own culture and experiences with me.
