Can I deactivate my profile?
Yes, to deactivate your profile, click on the "My Account" menu at the top of any page and click the “Deactivate account” link. Your profile may remain deactivated for up to 60 days, after which time it will be deleted and removed from the GreatNannies web site, unless you Activate it first.
When you deactivate your account, no one can see your profile in the search results.
Deactivating your profile is not cancelling or deleting it from GreatNannies; it is merely put on hold.
If you wish to delete your account entirely, simply click the "Cancel account" link under the "My account" menu at the top of the page.
When you deactivate your account you will not receive Hot List or FastMatch emails. If you sign in again before the end of 60 days and re-activate your account then deactivate it again, your account may be saved for another 60 days in its deactivated state.
Paid memberships cannot be put on hold and "banked" for use at a later time. Even if you deactivate your account, your membership will still expire based on the number of consecutive calendar days from the date your membership took effect.
